Cloud Peak's senior vice president leaves after roughly 7 years

announcedthat senior vice president for marketing and government affairs, Jim Orchard,will retire effective June 3 after serving the company for nearly seven years.

Orchard'sresponsibilities will be transitioned to other members of the executivemanagement team, including Todd Myers, senior vice president for businessdevelopment, who will be responsible for the company's marketing functions.Executive Vice President of the General Counsel Bryan Pechersky will also takecharge of Cloud Peak's government affairs functions.

Orchardis relocating his family back to Australia. He will receive retirement benefitsin accordance with the company's generally applicable compensation and benefitprograms but will not receive any severance payments, noted the company in a Form8-K filed May 2.
