E-Kiosk Q2 loss widens YOY

e-Kiosk S.A. said its normalized net income for the second quarter came to a loss of 183,540 zlotys, compared with a loss of 1,190 zlotys in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 3.9% from negative 0.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 9.0% on an annual basis to 4.7 million zlotys from 4.3 million zlotys, and total operating expenses climbed 16.1% year over year to 5.0 million zlotys from 4.3 million zlotys.

Reported net income came to a loss of 242,920 zlotys, or a loss of 1 groszy per share, compared to income of 7,050 zlotys, or 0 groszy per share, in the prior-year period.

As of July 27, US$1 was equivalent to 3.98 zlotys.
