DuPont de Nemours Inc. signed an agreement to acquire water technology company Desalitech Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

The transaction is expected to close in January 2020, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Founded in 2008, Desalitech designs, develops and manufactures industrial reverse osmosis systems for water purification. DuPont expects the acquisition to boost its position in the water purification space.
