Canada's Rogers to stream sports channels

's Rogers Communications Inc. will enable online streamingof its top sports channels starting April 1, Reuters reported March 31.

The packagewill reportedly include six Sportsnet channels, costing C$24.99 per month.

Streaming userswill not be required to subscribe to the company's cable or satellite offers.

Rogers is targetingchildren, millennials and the cord-never segments with the new offer, accordingto the report.

Canadianregulators recently ordered cable, satellite and telecom operators to launchsmaller channel packages as well as a C$25 basic TV offer.
