Willis Towers Watson Plc has appointed Mike Liss head of its corporate risk and broking business in North America, effective immediately.

Liss will be responsible for business growth and strategy, and consolidating the company's position in the U.S. mid-market, as well as expanding its offering to multinationals.

Liss previously served as the company's Midwest leader and will retain those responsibilities until a successor is appointed. He joined Willis Towers Watson in May 2006.
