MutualBank CFO Richard Spencer is set to become CEO of the Whitman,Mass.-based bank by the end of 2016, the BostonBusiness Journal reported July 25.

Incumbent CEOand Chairman Glen White is set to retire in December, according tothe news story.

The next five months will see Spencer transitioning into hisnew role.
