Patriot NationalInc. said April 7 that the committee of independent directors overseeingstrategic value-creating initiativescontinues to explore strategic alternatives for the company to maximize value forshareholders, including a possible sale.

Neither the committee nor the board has made a decision to enterinto any transaction or other alternative, and there are no assurances that theconsideration of strategic alternatives will result in the company entering intoa transaction or other alternative.
