Kenedix Office Investment to issue ¥100B of bonds

Kenedix Office Investment Corp. plans to issue ¥100.00 billion of investment corporation bonds in Japan, excluding short-term investment corporation bonds.

The company filed a shelf registration for the issuance of investment corporation bonds. It will issue the notes between Feb. 7 and Feb. 6, 2019.

Kenedix said the filing of a new shelf led to the cancellation of a previous one from Feb. 6, 2015. The company had planned to issue the bonds under that shelf between Feb. 15, 2015, and Feb. 14.

It plans to use the proceeds from the new issuance to purchase certain assets, to repay funds for borrowings and for working capital, among other purposes.

As of Jan. 30, US$1 was equivalent to ¥113.84.
