San Francisco-based First Republic Bank hired a six-member team of wealth managers for First Republic Investment Management Inc. in South Florida.
Salvatore Tiano, John Smyth, Louis Ventura and Daniel Tumba were appointed managing directors and wealth managers. Jason O'Brien and Gregory Saville were named vice president and wealth manager, respectively.
The team will be based in Jupiter, Fla., and will provide investment management, retirement planning, investment consulting and other wealth management services to individuals, families, nonprofits and private family foundations.
The team members worked at J.P. Morgan Securities before joining First Republic. Tiano was a managing director and portfolio manager; Smyth previously was executive director and portfolio manager; Ventura previously was a managing director; and Tumba previously was executive director and portfolio manager. O'Brien was vice president, while Saville was investment associate.

Samuel Uhl will retire from Corydon, Ind.-based First Capital Inc.'s board, effective upon the conclusion of the board meeting on Jan. 21.
Uhl's term as a class 2 director was set to end at the annual meeting of shareholders in 2022.

Terra Firma Capital Corp. appointed Jeremy Scheetz managing director. Scheetz most recently was the co-head of Tricon Capital Group Inc. in its San Francisco office before he joined the company.

De Chabaneix and Willis will join the division from the firm's equity sales and trading business, where they held senior roles for about a decade.

Bower was named a class C director of the company to serve until the annual meeting of shareholders in 2020.
