Ozu Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Feb. 28 amounted to ¥10.24 per share, a decline from ¥10.76 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥85.6 million, a decline from ¥90.0 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 0.9% from 0.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue came to ¥9.78 billion, compared with ¥9.73 billion in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses came to ¥9.65 billion, compared with ¥9.60 billion in the year-earlier period.
Reported net income fell 13.2% year over year to ¥79.0 million, or ¥9.44 per share, from ¥91.0 million, or ¥10.88 per share.
As of April 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.09.
