Quantum Materials fiscal Q3 loss narrows YOY

Quantum Materials Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31 came to a loss of $470,230, compared with a loss of $707,920 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin was 209.0%.

Total revenue came to $225,000, and total operating expenses grew 12.5% on an annual basis to $923,010 from $820,780.

Reported net income came to a loss of $752,360, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of $1.1 million, or a loss of 0 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
