RE/MAX shareholders elect new director, reject stockholder proposal

RE/MAX HoldingsInc. shareholders voted to elect a new director nominee and rejecteda stockholder proposalat the company's annual stockholder meeting May 5.

The company said Teresa Van De Bogart and three incumbent directorswere elected at the meeting. They will serve as class III directors for a term expiringat the 2019 annual stockholder meeting.

Meanwhile, shareholders voted down the stockholder proposal tocreate an ad hoc board committee to monitor activities in Israeli settlements. Specifically,40,042,348 of the votes were cast against it, 965,807 of the votes were in favor,242,791 abstained and 841,873 were broker non-votes.
