NW Natural executive to retire in 2018

Northwest Natural Gas Co. announced Dec. 21 that Senior Vice President of Utility Operations Grant Yoshihara plans to retire from the position by the end of March 2018.

Kimberly Heiting will take over as the company's senior vice president of operations, effective Jan. 1, 2018. To ensure a smooth transition, Heiting will work closely with Yoshihara until he steps down, NW Natural said.

Heiting is vice president of communications and chief marketing officer.
