S&P changes outlook on Danmarks Skibskredit to stable

S&P Global Ratings on Aug. 14 affirmed the long- and short-term issuer credit ratings of Danmarks Skibskredit A/S at BBB+/A-2 and revised the outlook on the Denmark-based bank to stable from negative, citing the lender's reduced level of nonperforming exposures.

The rating agency said the stable outlook indicates its expectation that Danmarks Skibskredit will maintain robust capital levels over the next two years, as well as strong liquidity buffers against adverse scenarios.

S&P Global Ratings said it also expects the bank's asset quality to remain stable amid trade tensions and a slowdown in the global economy.
