Univision introduces digital money transfer service

Univision CommunicationsInc. unit Univision Enterprises launched an international digital moneytransfer service for Hispanics.

Launched in partnership with Houston-based Bancomer TransferServices Inc., the Univision Remesas service offers multiple funding options includingprepaid cards, bank accounts, debit cards or credit cards, the company said April13.

The service is available on Apple Inc.'s iOS, GoogleInc.'s Android, Web and mobile Web. Bank deposit and cash pickup optionsare also available across more than 25,000 locations in Latin America, and transferfees start at $4.99. Customersupport is available in both English and Spanish.

Bancomer Transfer Services is a unit of Madrid-based BBVA.
