Nierenberg's appointment increases the size of theboard to 10 members, according to a Form 8-K filed May 3.


Cincinnati-based namedWilliam Tysonco-head of Fifth Third Capital Markets, according to a May 3 news release.Tyson most recently worked at Winston-Salem, N.C.-based , where he served assenior managing director and co-head of investment banking for BB&T CapitalMarkets.


ThomasReineke was elected to the board of Defiance, Ohio-based during the annual meeting of shareholders held on April 19. Reineke, who ispresident and CEO of Reineke Family Dealerships, fills the seat left vacant bythe retirement of Peter Diehl, according to a May 3 news release.


EdHawes no longer serves as Regions Bank's market president for Charlotte, N.C., theCharlotte Business Journal reported May 3. The bank, which is a unit of Birmingham, Ala.-based , has yet to namea replacement. Hawes joined the bank in 2006.


Longview, Texas-based named BradShelton senior vice president and commercial lending officer in the bank'sbranch in Frisco, Texas, Bankers Digest reported May 2. Shelton mostrecently worked at Houston-based Green Bank NA, a unit of

Charleston, S.C.-basedCresCom Bank, a unitof Carolina Financial Corp.,named Wade Burkesenior vice president and Wilmington, N.C., market leader for its retailmortgage banking division, according to a May 2 news release. Burke previouslyserved as the area sales manager for the Wilmington-based retail mortgage groupof Bank of America Corp.


Souderton, Pa.-based , asubsidiary of Univest Corp. ofPennsylvania, named JaneSobieski senior vice president in its commercial banking area,according to a May 2 news release.

Sobieski, who has more than 20 years of experiencein the financial services industry, most recently worked at Bank of America Corp.,where she served as senior relationship manager.
