Colliers International acquires British commercial building consultant

Colliers International acquired Bollingbrook Ltd., a British commercial building consultant, quantity surveyor and project manager, according to a release.

The acquisition will allow Colliers to expand its scale and capabilities in the U.K. and into western Europe. The company intends to integrate the business into its existing project and building consultancy operations in the country. The acquisition details were not disclosed.

Chris McLernon, CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa for Colliers International, said the acquisition represents the company's fourth investment in the U.K. since 2014. The combined project and building consultancy operations team will comprise over 70 employees across 14 offices.

Colliers' Gary Powell and Graeme Foreman and Bollingbrook founders Guy Rockingham and Peter Radford will head the integrated team.
