Covéaadded that it has been a SCOR shareholder since 2003 and that the purchase ofthe additional shares reflects its confidence in the reinsurer.
SCORsaid in a regulatory filing the same day that declared April 8 that it passed below the 5% threshold of capital and votingrights in SCOR and no longer holds any shares in the corporation. The firm'sshares were held indirectly through Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance Inc.
