Jeco Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥182.94 per share, a gain from ¥180.97 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥305.0 million, an increase from ¥301.9 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 5.1% from 5.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell on an annual basis to ¥6.00 billion from ¥6.08 billion, and total operating expenses totaled ¥5.64 billion, compared with ¥5.61 billion in the year-earlier period.
Reported net income increased 87.9% on an annual basis to ¥374.0 million, or ¥224.33 per share, from ¥199.0 million, or ¥119.30 per share.
As of Feb. 9, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.60.
