Xiaomi taps Indian B2B platform to grow offline presence

is teaming withIndian business-to-business e-commerce platform Shotang to help the Chineseelectronics giant expand its offline presence in India, The Indian Express reported Sept. 21.

Thepartnership will allow Xiaomi to sell its Mi smartphones using Shotang'sconnections with more than 7,000 retailers in multiple cities across India, thereport said, citing Shotang CEO Anish Basu Roy.

This movecomes after Xiaomi expressedits intention to increase its bricks-and-mortar presence in the country.
