Mexico'sMinister of Treasury and Public Credit, the SHCP, José Antonio Meade has appointedEmilio Suárez Licona as head of the ministry's development banking unit to replaceBernardo González Rosas, who will take over for Narciso Campos Cuevas as head ofthe banking, securities and savings unit, the Ministry said in an Oct. 2 statementon its website.
SuárezLicona was previously head of the office of the general counsel and commissionerfor transparency at the Social Development Ministry.
For hispart, González Rosas, prior to becoming head of the ministry's development bankingunit in April 2015, was vice president of regulatory policy at Mexican banking regulatorCNBV. He has also worked at Bancodel Ahorro Nacional y Servicios Financieros SNC.
The Ministryalso acknowledged Campos Cuevas' work as head of the banking, securities and savingsunit without giving a reason for his departure.
