Bioera H1 loss narrows YOY

Bioera S.p.A. said its first-half normalized net income was a loss of €284,500, compared with a loss of €493,500 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue decreased year over year to €29.0 million from €29.5 million, and total operating expenses fell year over year to €29.0 million from €30.2 million.

Reported net income totaled a loss of €747,000, or a loss of 2 cents per share, compared to a loss of €1.1 million, or a loss of 3 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
