Innergex books higher Q2'19 adjusted EBITDA, revenues

Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. on Aug. 13 reported second-quarter 2019 adjusted EBITDA of C$105.2 million, an increase from C$91.7 million in the year-ago period.

The result missed the S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus estimate of C$126.40 for the most recent quarter.

The renewable power producer posted a net loss from continuing operations of C$10.5 million, or a loss of 7 cents per share, down from net income of C$11.1 million, or 6 cents per share, a year ago.

Revenues totaled C$144.7 million in the 2019 second quarter, an increase from C$124.9 million in the prior-year period.

Innergex produced 1,742.0 GWh of electricity in second-quarter 2019, compared with 1,509.6 GWh a year ago.
