Pangolin DiamondsCorp. said May 3 that it has recovered two additional diamonds from the MTS grid at its wholly ownedMalatswae projectin Botswana.
The colorless clear broken macle discovered from the MTS-DG-187sample measures 1 millimeter by 1 millimeter by 0.5 millimeter, and an off-whitebroken diamond recovered from the MTS-DG-133 sample measures about 1 millimeterby 0.8 millimeter by 0.5 millimeter.
To date, the company has recovered 13 diamonds overall from theproject, including the last three diamonds from the MTS grid.
Meanwhile, Pangolin also noted that the recovery of diamondsfrom the samples supports the presence of at least two diamond-bearing occurrences, while the distribution of the diamonds and garnets indicates at least three differentsources within the grid.
A total of 390 kimberlite indicators have been recovered fromthe grid. Drilling for kimberlite within the MTS grid is scheduled to be undertakenin the second half of this year, Pangolin added.
