An updated mineral resource estimate for Amur Minerals Corp.'s Ikenskoe and Sobolevsky nickel-copperdeposits, part of the Kun-Manieproject in Russia, showed increases in measured, indicated and inferred resourcesto 35.3 million tonnes at 0.51% nickel and 0.13% copper, compared to July 2013 estimatesof 34.1 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.52% nickel and 0.13% copper.
According to a May 3 news release, the new resource contains180,800 tonnes of nickel metal and 47,100 tonnes of copper metal. The high-gradezones contain 77% of the total nickel resource.
Byproduct platinum group metals total 12,700 kilograms, including5,900 kilograms of platinum and 6,700 kilograms of palladium.
