Thai Wacoal Q3 profit climbs 46.1% YOY

Thai Wacoal Public Company Ltd said its normalized net income for the third quarter was 43 satang per share, an increase of 46.1% from 29 satang per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 51.3 million baht, an increase of 46.1% from 35.1 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 5.4% from 4.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 7.9% year over year to 948.4 million baht from 879.3 million baht, and total operating expenses grew 6.3% on an annual basis to 895.5 million baht from 842.1 million baht.

Reported net income increased 36.7% on an annual basis to 74.2 million baht, or 62 satang per share, from 54.3 million baht, or 45 satang per share.
