On the heels of the appointment of Manuel Jiménez as the new CEO of Grupo Popular SA, subsidiary Banco Popular Dominicano SA - Banco Múltiple enacted multiple senior-level changes across its leadership team.
With the changes, René Grullón Finet will be senior vice president for the bank's national and international businesses. Previously, he was senior executive vice president for risk, compliance, security and human management.
Antonia Antón de Hernández, meanwhile, will serve as senior executive vice president of human management, cultural transformation, credit administration and compliance. Previously, she was the executive vice president for human management, cultural transformation and systems and processes.
Juan Lehoux Amell replaced Ignacio Guerra as senior executive vice president for technology and operations. In turn, Luis Espínola is replacing Lehoux as executive vice president of business and investment affairs.
Moreover, the bank created an executive vice president role for comprehensive risk management, and another for finance and controllership. Felipe Suárez and Lissette de Jesús were appointed to the two positions, respectively.
