Fannie Mae issues $2B notes due 2022

Fannie Mae issued $2.0 billion of notes due Sept. 6, 2022, with a coupon rate of 1.375%.

Interest payments will be made March 6 and Sept. 6 of each year, with the first payment to be made March 6, 2020. The government-sponsored enterprise priced the notes Sept. 5, and the settlement date was Sept. 6.

Barclays Capital Inc., Nomura Securities International Inc., TD Securities USA and Williams Capital Group LP were lead managers of the offering, while Academy Securities, Alamo Capital, Cabrera Capital Markets LLC, Great Pacific Securities and Stern Brothers & Co. were the co-managers.
