WEX issues Q1, FY'18 guidance

WEX Inc. has issued guidance for the first quarter of 2018 and reported fourth-quarter 2017 results.

For the first quarter, the company expects revenue of $333 million to $343 million and adjusted net income in the range of $72 million to $75 million, or $1.66 to $1.74 per diluted share.

The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate for the first quarter is $1.67.

For full year 2018, WEX anticipates revenue in the range of $1.40 billion to $1.44 billion, and adjusted net income in the range of $315 million to $332 million, or $7.30 to $7.70 per share.

The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate for 2018 is $7.48.

The company also reported fourth-quarter 2017 net earnings attributable to shareholders of $79.8 million, or $1.85 per share, compared to $5.3 million, or 12 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.

The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate for the fourth quarter of 2017 was $1.46.
