Enagas' year-to-date profit down 13.3% on the year

Enagás S.A. on Oct. 16 reported a net profit of €325.7 million for the nine months ended Sept. 30, down 13.3% from the €375.7 million earned during the same period in 2017.

Total income for the three-quarter period was pegged at €1.01 billion, slipping 0.9% from the €1.02 billion seen during the same period in 2017.

Net debt was pegged at €4.02 billion for the first nine months of the year compared to €4.36 billion in the same period last year.

The Spanish energy company said natural gas demand toward the end of the third quarter was up 1.7% compared to 2017, reaching 251.6 TWh.
