Bold Ventures, First Nation group form mineral exploration alliance

Bold Ventures Inc. and Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation entered into a strategic alliance agreement to identify business-driven, resource-related opportunities.

The alliance expects to generate a variety of resource-related projects ranging from base and precious metals to industrial minerals and materials, as well as infrastructure development, according to an Aug. 1 release.

This effort will be a separate division to the company's core business of exploration for base and precious metals within Canada and will focus initially on the Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation's traditional land.

The First Nation has initiated a number of resource-related projects in various sectors and the parties will seek to expand the scope of the former's economic and investment activity by identifying and managing various revenue-generating opportunities.

In June, the company together with the Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation, staked seven claims covering 1,600 hectares in Ontario dubbed the Traxxin Extension gold property.
