Report: CBRE looks at 3 World Trade Center lease in NYC for coworking brand Hana

CBRE Group Inc.'s hunt for a Manhattan, N.Y., location for its coworking brand Hana has led it to explore Silverstein Properties Inc.'s 3 World Trade Center tower among other locations, Crain's New York Business reported, citing sources familiar with the effort.

The real estate services company held preliminary talks to occupy two floors, spanning about 100,000 square feet, at 3 World Trade Center, according to the sources.

So far, Hana has plans to open a 67,000-square-foot space in Dallas and a 60,000-square-foot facility in Irvine, Calif., by the end of 2019.

A spokeswoman for Hana said the company is having several discussions across the world, with a focus on the U.S. and the U.K., according to the May 21 report.
