Siemens Gamesa appoints CEOs for onshore, service segments

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy on Dec. 7 announced the appointment of José Antonio Miranda as CEO for its onshore business, and Darnell Walker as CEO of its service business.

Siemens Gamesa also announced the consolidation of its North American and Latin America regions, according to a Nov. 7 report by North American Windpower.

Miranda previously served as head of the onshore activities for Gamesa's Latin America region.

Walker most recently served as CEO for the Service North America region.

The Siemens AG subsidiary said its consolidation of North America and Latin America regions would allow it to "obtain greater efficiencies and operational excellence."
