Onyx Renewable to build 1.3-MW solar project at SeaWorld San Diego

Onyx Renewable Partners LP has been selected to install a 1.3-MW solar project at SeaWorld San Diego's Aquatica water park in Chula Vista, Calif.

The project is expected to be operational by the summer 2018. It will generate 80% to 90% of the park's annual energy use, according to a Dec. 14 news release.

SeaWorld Entertainment Inc. owns SeaWorld San Diego.
