CommunityWorks FCU gets members' approval to merge into Self-Help CU

Members of Greenville, S.C.-based CommunityWorks FCU on Sept. 25 voted to approve the credit union's merger with Durham, N.C.-based Self-Help CU.

Self-Help CU made the offer to merge with CommunityWorks FCU. Deposit rates at CommunityWorks FCU will increase significantly following the merger.

As of June 30, CommunityWorks FCU had approximately $3.4 million in assets, and Self-Help CU had approximately $957.7 million in assets, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data.
