Peoples Bank appoints CFO, COO

Mendenhall, Miss.-based Peoples Bank promoted Julie Harris to COO and Michael Tolleson to CFO.

Vicky Dawsey was appointed as the bank's chief retail officer.

Also, John Blanton was promoted to senior vice president, Christopher Dunn was promoted to senior lending officer, and Senior Vice President Doug Rogers was named senior agricultural officer.

Harris joined Peoples Bank in 1985, while Tolleson began his tenure at the bank in 1995. Dawsey, who has been with the company since 1987, will manage branch operations, including staff training, staffing and organization.

In his new role, Blanton will oversee the bank's government-guaranteed lending programs, while Dunn will focus on mentoring and encouraging production among the bank's lending staff. Rogers will become a member of the bank's internal loan committee and help develop and set agribusiness lending policies.
