Singtel appoints CEO designate for Optus, Australian consumer unit

Singtel named Kelly Bayer Rosmarin CEO designate of its Australian subsidiaries Singtel Optus Pty. Ltd. and Consumer Australia.

Rosmarin, who joined the Singaporean telco in March 2019 and is currently Optus' deputy CEO, will assume her new role on April 1, 2020. She will also sit on Singtel's management committee.

The appointee will take over from Allen Lew, who will assume the newly created roles of CEO for group strategy and business development, and country chief officer for Thailand. He will also remain executive committee chairman at Singtel's majority owned mobile operator Advanced Info Service PCL.
