Former Taubman Centers director rejoins board

Former Taubman CentersInc. director Myron Ullman was reappointed to the company's board, fillingthe vacancy left by Vice Chairman Lisa Payne's departure.

Ullman will finish out the term of Payne's board seat, whichexpires in 2017. He will be an independent director under NYSE rules and will serveon both the audit committee and the nominating and governance committee. He qualifiesas an audit committee financial expert under SEC regulations, according to an April4 news release.

Ullman also sits on the board of Starbucks Corp. as lead directorand is executive chairman of J.C.Penney Co. Inc. He served as J.C. Penney's CEO from April 2013 to August2015, as the executive chairman from November 2011 to January 2012,and as the chairman of the board and CEO from December 2004 to November2011.
