S.T. Dupont fiscal Q1 loss widens 23.1% YOY

S.T. Dupont SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 amounted to €1.0 million, compared with a loss of €812,500 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 8.3% from negative 4.7% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 30.5% on an annual basis to €12.1 million from €17.4 million, and total operating expenses declined 22.7% year over year to €13.6 million from €17.6 million.

Reported net income totaled a loss of €1.7 million, compared with a loss of €1.4 million in the prior-year period.
