AllianceBernstein Corp. COO James Gingrich will retire Dec. 31.

An agreement with Gingrich, disclosed in June 2019, stipulated that he would retire no earlier than Dec. 31 and no later than Dec. 31, 2022.

Kate Burke, chief administrative officer, will succeed Gingrich and assume the title of COO, effective July 1.
