Vancouver, Canada-based Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. hired Jason Panzer as a managing director to lead the fintech investment banking and advisory practice of the company.

Panzer was COO at investment banking advisory firm Marlin & Associates Securities LLC in New York, where he dealt with deals in the mid-market technology and financial sectors.
