Uoriki fiscal Q4 profit climbs 10.8% YOY

Uoriki Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 was ¥16.57 per share, a gain of 10.9% from ¥14.95 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥235.1 million, a gain of 10.8% from ¥212.1 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 3.4% from 3.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased on an annual basis to ¥6.88 billion from ¥6.57 billion, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to ¥6.55 billion from ¥6.28 billion.

Reported net income increased 22.3% year over year to ¥203.0 million, or ¥14.31 per share, from ¥166.0 million, or ¥11.70 per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥69.58 per share, a gain from ¥66.51 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was ¥987.1 million, a gain from ¥950.6 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue rose 7.1% from the prior-year period to ¥28.48 billion from ¥26.58 billion, and total operating expenses grew 7.6% year over year to ¥27.21 billion from ¥25.28 billion.

The company said reported net income grew 34.3% on an annual basis to ¥1.14 billion, or ¥80.56 per share, in the full year, from ¥851.0 million, or ¥59.54 per share.

As of June 29, US$1 was equivalent to ¥122.67.
