Shree Tulsi Online.Com fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

Shree Tulsi Online.Com Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, came to 1 Indian paise per share, a decline of 20.0% from 1 paise per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 240,630 rupees, a decrease of 15.9% from 286,250 rupees in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 13.9% from 13.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined 21.4% year over year to 1.7 million rupees from 2.2 million rupees, and total operating expenses decreased 9.8% on an annual basis to 1.8 million rupees from 2.0 million rupees.

Reported net income fell 15.9% on an annual basis to 385,000 rupees, or 2 paise per share, from 458,000 rupees, or 2 paise per share.

As of Feb. 9, US$1 was equivalent to 67.92 Indian rupees.
