ImpediMed Ltd. said Cherrell Hirst is retiring as chairman of the company's board.

Scott Ward, a member of the company's board since July 2013, will replace Hirst as chairman.

Robert Graham, executive director of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, will join ImpediMed's board as a nonexecutive director.
