Citi, Barclaycard US, MasterCard extend credit card agreements with American Airlines

Citi, Barclaycard US and MasterCardInc. have extended their partnerships with American Airlines in theAAdvantage credit card program.

Citi will continue offering its lineup of cards to new customersthrough multiple exclusive channels such as digital, mobile, direct mail and AdmiralsClub lounges. Barclaycard US will offer its cards to new customers in airports andexclusively during flights, beginning in January 2017. Current cardholders willalso benefit from a new, long-­term exclusive agreement with MasterCard, which servesas the exclusive payment network.
