Illinois-based Applied Systems Inc. agreed to acquire San Francisco-based insurtech Indio Technologies Inc.

Indio Technologies provides web-based solutions for agencies and brokers through a workflow management platform that delivers a fully automated solution for capturing client risk data.

Applied Systems said the acquisition is in line with its intention to digitize the end-to-end commercial lines submissions process for agencies, brokers, insurers and insureds.
