George Henderson III joined the board of Tyler, Texas-based Southside Bancshares Inc.

Henderson, who has been a director of Southside Bank since December 2017, is the owner of Henderson Mineral Inc.

New York-based Signature Bank made several appointments to its asset-based lending group, including Robert Abraham as vice president, new business development and Michael Grande as new business development, transportation and logistics.

Abraham was previously senior vice president and team leader of asset-based lending at Oak Ridge, N.J.-based Lakeland Bank. Grande most recently served as senior vice president at Santander.

Troy, Mich.-based Flagstar Bank FSB hired Scott Bristol as senior vice president and national production manager of its retail mortgage business.

Bristol previously served as national sales manager at New American Funding.

Financial services

Great Rock Capital Partners LLC named Jim Clifton managing director of originations.

Clifton recently served as senior vice president at PNC Bank NA, where he focused on originating asset-based and cash flow credit facilities within the PNC Business Credit division.
