Report: National Bank of Greece issues €750M covered bond

National Bank of Greece SA issued a €750 million covered bond with a maturity of three years, the Financial Times reported.

The bond carries a coupon of 2.75%, according to the Oct. 10 report.

The issuance marks the first time since 2014 that the Greek banking sector has tapped international capital markets, the newspaper noted.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, NatWest and UBS were reportedly involved in the deal.
