Saracen Mineral Holdings Ltd. said Oct. 6 that it has appointed Simon Jessop as its new COO.

Jessop's appointment will take effect Jan. 3, 2018.

Jessop, who has over 20 years of experience in senior management roles with mid-tier mining companies contractors, has held a number of senior roles at Evolution Mining Ltd., including most recently as General Manager – Kalgoorlie Region.
