Mid-Atlantic

Midland Park, N.J-based Stewardship Financial Corp., the parent company of Atlantic Stewardship Bank, opened a loan production office in Morristown, N.J., according to the company's earnings release.

The Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities approved Asian Bank's application to open a branch at 6509 Castor Avenue in Philadelphia, according to the state regulator's summary of activities.

The Philadelphia-based bank is a unit of Asian Financial Corp.

Penn Community Bank applied with the Pennsylvania banking regulator for a branch at 1651 The Fairway in Jenkintown, Pa.

The bank is a subsidiary of Perkasie, Pa.-based Penn Community Financial Corp. Penn Community Mutual Holdings Inc. is the bank's ultimate parent.

Souderton, Pa.-based Univest Bank and Trust Co., a unit of Univest Corp. of Pennsylvania, seeks the Pennsylvania banking regulator's approval to open two branches in the state — at 574 Main Street in Bethlehem and at 1 Heritage Drive in Gordonville.

Uniondale, N.Y.-based Flushing Bank, a unit of Flushing Financial Corp., intends to close three branches in Queens borough, N.Y., according to the New York State Department of Financial Services' weekly banking bulletin.

The branches to be closed are those located at 188-08 Hollis Court Boulevard in Auburndale, at 159-18 Northern Boulevard in Flushing, and at 144-51 Northern Boulevard in Flushing.

Lakewood, N.J.-based First Commerce Bank opened a branch at 280 Passaic Avenue in Fairfield, N.J., according to the New Jersey Department of Banking & Insurance's depository application activity.

Tinton Falls, N.J.-based Two River Community Bank closed its branch at 1717 Route 34 in Farmingdale, N.J., according to the state banking regulator's depository application activity.

Two River Bancorp is the bank's parent company.

Lincoln 1st Bank (MHC) opened a branch at 223 Changebridge Road in Montville, N.J., and closed its branch at 193 Changebridge Road, also in Montville, according to the state banking regulator's depository application activity.

The Lincoln Park, N.J.-based bank is a subsidiary of Lincoln Park Bancorp (MHC), which is 54.00% owned by Lincoln Park Bancorp MHC.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia approved Pittston, Pa.-based Landmark Community Bank's application to open a branch at Wyoming Avenue in Wyoming, Pa., according to a Federal Reserve release.

The bank is a subsidiary of Landmark Bancorp Inc.

Glen Head, N.Y.-based First National Bank of Long Island expects to open four branches over the next 12 months — three in Queens and one in Brooklyn. The First of Long Island Corp. subsidiary continues to evaluate sites for further branch expansion, according to the company's earnings release.

The bank filed an application with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for a branch in Bayside, N.Y., at 23-88A Bell Boulevard, 24th Avenue, The Bay Terrace Shopping Center.

Phoenixville, Pa.-based Customers Bank applied with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to open an office at 53 West Jackson Boulevard, Suite 1320, in Chicago, according to the state regulator's regulatory report for July.

The bank is a subsidiary of Wyomissing, Pa.-based Customers Bancorp Inc.

Midwest

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation approved Great Southern Bank's application to open a branch at Two North Riverside Plaza, Suite 1820, in Chicago.

The Springfield, Mo.-based bank is a subsidiary of Great Southern Bancorp Inc.

Saint Louis-based Stifel Bank and Trust, a unit of Stifel Financial Corp., obtained the approval of the Illinois banking regulator to open a branch at 70 West Madison Street, Suite 2500, in Chicago.

Rush City, Minn.-based Unity Bank closed its branch at 724 West Washington Street in Brainerd, Minn., according to the July 14 application activity report released by the Minnesota Commerce Department's Division of Financial Institutions.

Augusta, Wis.-based Kimberly Leasing Corp. is the bank's parent company.

Minnesota-based Randall State Bank opened a branch at 724 West Washington Street in Brainerd, Minn., according to the state banking regulator's July 20 application activity report.

Northeast

Providence, R.I.-based Bank Rhode Island, a subsidiary of Brookline Bancorp Inc., applied with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston for a branch at 265 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick, R.I.

Southeast

The Georgia Department of Banking and Finance approved Atlanta-based Affinity Bank's application to open a branch at 400 Galleria Parkway, Suite 900, in Atlanta, according to the state banking regulator's July bulletin.

The bank is a subsidiary of ABB Financial Group Inc.

Doraville, Ga.-based First IC Bank, a unit of First IC Corp., obtained the approval of the Georgia banking regulator to establish a branch at 3170 Peachtree Parkway in Suwanee, Ga.

The Georgia banking regulator approved Doraville-based Metro City Bank's application to open a branch at 3280 Holcomb Bridge Road in Norcross, Ga.

The bank is a subsidiary of MetroCity Bankshares Inc.

Reston, Va.-based Access National Bank, a subsidiary of Access National Corp., closed its branch at 1779 Fountain Drive in Reston, according to the OCC's website.

The Auburn, Ala.-based bank is a subsidiary of Auburn National Bancorp. Inc.

The Alabama banking regulator approved Troy Bank & Trust Co.'s application to open a branch at 4971 West Main Street in Dothan, Ala.

The Troy, Ala.-based bank, a unit of Henderson Bancshares Inc., also opened a branch at 2701 Frederick Road, Suite 101, in Opelika.

Ralls, Texas-based Vista Bank seeks to obtain the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' approval to open two branches in Texas — at 1300 Summit Avenue, Suite 100, in Fort Worth; and at 6801 Preston Road in Dallas.

Vista Bancshares Inc. is the bank's parent company.

West Jordan, Utah-based Mountain America FCU will hold a grand opening celebration on Aug. 12 for its branch at 8349 West 3500 South in Magna, Utah, according to a press release.

California-based Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach seeks to obtain the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's approval to establish a branch at 1034 Santa Barbara Street in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Private Bank of America, a division of Coronado, Calif.-based San Diego Private Bank, opened a full-service branch at 9606 Santa Monica Boulevard, Suite 400, in Beverly Hills, Calif., according to a press release.

San Diego Private Bank is a subsidiary of La Jolla, Calif.-based Private Bancorp of America Inc.

Glendale, Ariz.-based BNC National Bank notified the OCC of its plan to close its branch at 1000 West Century Avenue in Bismarck, N.D.

The bank is a subsidiary of BNCCORP, INC.

Reno, Nev.-based Charles Schwab Bank intends to close its branch at 6502 South Mc Carran Boulevard, Suite E, in Reno, according to the OCC's website.

The bank is a unit of Charles Schwab Corp.
